Adan Sallow is a non-profit leader with over 35 years of experience in refugee resettlement, disaster relief, and community engagement. As a Board Director, he ensures governance decisions address the needs of racialized, newcomer, and refugee communities.

With a background in Mass Communication and Journalism, along with a Higher Certificate in Communication in Health Education, Adan has led initiatives like the Somali Youth Empowerment Project and has extensive experience in advocacy, public engagement, and strategic outreach. He specializes in culturally responsive engagement, ensuring community voices shape decision-making. His expertise in policy oversight, public advocacy, and partnership development strengthens collaboration with stakeholders and supports equity-focused governance.

Dedicated to equity and social justice, Adan advances the CCGBA+ inclusive governance and strategic planning.
