Land Acknowledgments

Our work takes place across the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples throughout what is now called Canada. From coast to coast to coast, we honour the enduring presence and stewardship of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, who have cared for these lands since time immemorial.

Our efforts are guided by a commitment to reconciliation and a dedication to fostering respectful relationships with Indigenous communities. We encourage everyone to learn about the Indigenous Peoples whose land they inhabit and to support Indigenous-led initiatives in their area.

If you’d like to learn more about the traditional lands on which you live and work, visit Native Land and access the Indigenous Ally Toolkit.

Why did we choose to use “Canada” as part of our title?
