We’re proud to share that we’ve received new funding from RADIUS at SFU to lead a national initiative focused on organizational capacity building through a GBA+ lens.

What This Means for You

This isn’t just our win. It’s yours too.

While the funding is focused on strengthening the capacity of immigrant-led organizations, it also opens the door for us to explore broader, intersectional issues, something we’re deeply committed to.

Here’s what this means in practice: we’ll be offering a mix of learning opportunities, community-centred gatherings, and responsive support shaped by your feedback and realities. We heard you loud and clear when you asked for support in demystifying GBA+, and we’re responding with care and commitment. This funding gives us the capacity to be more intentional, more present, and more flexible in how we show up.

It means more workshops and learning spaces designed with your day-to-day experiences in mind. More chances to explore questions together, to learn from one another, and to dig deeper into what equity and inclusion look like in practice. It also gives us time to experiment, adapt, and meet you where you are.

We’re still a small team, and like many of you, we juggle a lot. This support gives us some breathing room to stay grounded in our work, to be more available, and to take better care of our shared momentum.

How We Were Chosen

We appreciated how RADIUS approached the selection process. The team led a review that was community-rooted, participatory, and values-driven. The process was open and thoughtful, and that really resonated with us.

For us, process matters as much as outcomes. We saw that same care reflected in RADIUS’s approach, and we’re genuinely grateful.

To our team: thank you.
To RADIUS SFU: thank you.
To everyone in our community: this is for you.
